Founded in the spirit of intellectual rigor and ethical debate, the UC Berkeley Ethics Bowl Team, also known as the Critical Ethics Society of California, proudly represents the University of California, Berkeley in the APPE Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl®.

As participants in this esteemed competition, we dedicate countless hours to analyzing contemporary ethical dilemmas that challenge societal norms and values.

Stephanie Ulatowski

Stephanie Ulatowski is a dedicated scholar at UC Berkeley, pursuing dual B.A. degrees in Philosophy and Greek & Latin. As the President of Academic Programming and Club Operations for the Critical Ethics Society of California, she brings a deep academic focus and leadership to the team. Her ethical journey began with a strong foundation in competitive debate, where she earned first-place national titles at Stanford and Santa Clara.
